For Group Activities St Louis Is Simply The Best

Tourists from all over the world flock to the state of Missouri. It is not really surprising, considering the magnificent natural beauty of the entire area, the majestic Mississippi river lazily winding through it, the many excellent hotels and the numerous number of things to do. Every season is special in its own way. Many previous visitors will testify that, when it comes to group activities St Louis is definitely the one place to go.

Groups love visiting this city because there is just so much for them to do together. Schools, companies on team building exercises and social groups all visit the city right throughout the year. There are numerous things to do but there are even professional team building consultants that can design custom programs that will perfectly suit the needs of all groups.

The city enjoys excellent weather almost year round. Outdoor adventures are therefore very popular and the choice between things to do is almost bewildering. Places such as Go Ape, for example, allows visitors to explore magnificent natural forest by traversing a zip line course through the canopies of the trees. Grants Farm, an erstwhile presidential estate, is also popular. It is now home to more than 100 species of indigenous wildlife.

For those groups that want to experience something exceptional, magic and even strange, the City Museum is a must. This is a museum like no other. It was created by artists and engineers and consist almost entirely of reclaimed materials. Visitors are invited to become part of the exhibits. They can climb up chimneys, explore enchanted caves and take a ten story spiral slide all the way down to the entrance again. The 600 000 sqaure feet that makes up this unique museum contain countless treasures and visitors should allow enough time to thoroughly explore.

The magic House is another very popular attraction. This interactive educational centre focus upon making learning a whole lot of fun. It is designed for younger visitors but people of all ages enjoy the Bubble Room and the amazing pin point wall that lets people create full three dimensional pictures of themselves. There is a replica of the bean stalk that Jack climbed and visitors are encouraged to actually climb it.

No visit to this city without a boat trip on the grand Mississippi will be complete. Companies such as Gateway Arch Riverboats will spoil their guests with a lazy and leisurely ride down the river while a knowledgeable guide will inform them about the history of the surrounds. Most visitors are in awe of the giant Gateway Arch, the biggest and highest man made tribute in the country.

Those that love their sport will feel as if they have arrived in heaven. Excellent facilities for any type of sport is readily available and many clubs offer their facilities to visitors. There are numerous running routes and biking trails. Of course, every type of water sport is popular and numerous operators offer equipment and facilities for hire. Skydiving and paragliding is also popular.

There can be no doubt that this city is one of the jewels of not just Missouri, but the entire country. It seems to offer anything anybody could possibly hope for. However, because it is so popular, visitors will be well advised to book their accommodation, tours and activities well ahead of time.
