Kintamani tour landscapes

Kintamani is a tourist area of natural sights, located in the tourist area of Batur, Batur Village, Kintamani District, Regency of Bangli. Sightseeing can be traversed by vehicles, because this location connects the town of Bangli and Singaraja city. While the route object, connecting the tourist area Batur with Tampaksiring and Besakih.

Tourism potential of this area is the views of the mountains are very unique and amazing. After approximately 2 hours drive from Denpasar we will reach this area, precisely at a place called "Penelokan", in accordance with its name in the language of Bali, which means "the place to look," is the most strategic location to enjoy the natural scenery in this tourist area. Penelokan located in Kedisan village, Kintamani District.

From Penelokan we can witness the incredible view, a combination of Mount Batur (along stretch of black rocks) with Danau Batur (lake is a blue crescent-shaped in a caldera), which by the tourists said to be the most beautiful caldera in the world. Penelokan already have adequate infrastructure as tourist attractions, such as lodging and restaurants.

From Penelokan we have two alternatives to continue the journey in Kintamani. First we could continue north toward the village of Batur. In this village we can visit one of the celestial universe temple in Bali is called Pura Batur, this temple was originally situated in the southwest of Mount Batur which is then transferred along with the displacement of villagers to the top.

The second alternative, down to Kedisan village to the next crossing to an old village named Terunyan. In the village of Terunyan we can see an ancient civilization called the "Bali aga". In this village people who had died placed just beneath a tree, not buried. These corpses do not smell at all, because it neutralized by the smell of fragrant wood, called "Menyan".
